Well Built Solutions - The community launch webinar with +1000 registrants

Over 1000 signups in your first webinar - numbers most marketers dream of. Well Mia & Ceci @ Well Built Solutions figured it out - and launched their new offering with a bang. A text book example on how to use a community to grow, and use webinars to deepen the relationship.
Launching with a webinar BANG 🎉
TLDR; 1 hour long webinar, +1000 registrants, and almost 2000 chat messages.
Well Built Solutions wanted to launch their new product in a way that felt personal and connected. Instead of running ads or posting another announcement on social media, they decided to go live with a webinar together with their community.
The result?
Over 1,000 people signed up, more than 60% joined live, and the chat was buzzing almost 2000 messages throughout the hour long webinar!

The challenge
Well Built Solutions was preparing to launch a new offer and wanted more than just attention — they wanted a real connection with their community. They had a strong newsletter following and social presence but needed a way to turn that energy into live interaction and engagement.
🎯 The goal was clear: use a launch webinar to create buzz, drive signups, and turn community excitement into action.

The 3 step approach to get +1000 signups
Mia & Ceci at Well Built Solutions are no strangers to good marketing and getting people together, having built a successful community and newsletter with +5,600 members. Here is the 3 step approach they used to get over 1000 people to sign up to their first webinar.
✅ 1. Newsletter first
Most signups came through their newsletter. They sent a teaser email a few weeks before promoting the webinar, and used the automatic webinar reminders in Univid (webinar platform) to stay top of mind just as the webinar went live - keeping their attendance rate high (+60%).
Keeping communication short and personal, focusing on the value of joining live rather than making it sound like a sales pitch.
✅ 2. Social media buzz
Also, they kept the conversation going on LinkedIn with behind-the-scenes updates, and countdowns.
The tone was friendly and authentic, which helped the posts spread through community engagement rather than paid reach.
✅ 3. Giveaway to build momentum
To make it fun, they added a small giveaway linked to the webinar.
It encouraged sharing and increased signups to the webinar registration page (set up in Univid) - a simple but effective boost to get the community involved.

The live event 🔴
The one-hour webinar was structured around engagement from start to finish. First pressing the "go live" button from the Univid webinar studio and welcome the audience.

And then in the live section of the webinar, Mia and Ceci did a few things well, to keep engagement going:
Short and clear introduction
Real-time chat open from the start
Q&A section to handle audience questions live
In-platform CTA buttons for next steps

The chat exploded - with over 1,942 messages during a single session. Attendees asked questions, cheered, and connected with each other throughout the event.
Driving next steps 🎯
That energy also helped them reach a double digit % CTA conversion rate and kept people active until the very end - turning live engagement directly into measurable results.

During the webinar, they used in-platform CTAs to guide attendees toward the next action - signing up to become a founding member. Planning things from the start - the CTAs felt natural in the flow of the session, rather than something slapped on last minute.
The replay 🎬
After the live session, the team made the recording available on-demand inside their community.

This allowed those who couldn’t join live to still watch and engage, keeping the momentum going. The replay continued to generate new leads long after the launch.

Lessons learned
Use the existing strong channels you already have in marketing of your webinar - in this case a strong newsletter was a key part
Keep registration short and easy
Make everyone feel welcome and part of the community to get alot of chat engagement
Use chat and Q&A to create energy
Add in-platform CTAs to guide next steps and make the outcome measurable
Turn every webinar into a replay for ongoing reach
Powered by Univid
Well Built Solutions hosted their launch webinar on Univid. The platform made it easy to engage hundreds of attendees, run live Q&A and CTAs, and turn the event into an on-demand experience for their growing community.
